Pamifos belongs to a pharmacotherapeutic group of drugs that affect the process of bone tissue mineralization and prevent its destruction (resorption).
The international nonproprietary name of the drug is Pamidronate; the manufacturer is Medac GmbH (Germany).
Pamifos is a synonym for bisphosphonate drugs, which are produced under the trade names Pamidronate, Pamiredin, Pamidria, Pamired, Pomigara, etc. Their therapeutic effect is provided by the same active substance - disodium pamidronate.

Indications Pamifos
Indications for the use of Pamifos and the listed synonymous drugs: metastases of cancerous tumors to bones and increased calcium levels in the blood in patients with cancer; multiple myeloma; Paget's disease.
Other characteristics of Pamifos - contraindications for use, release form, principles of therapeutic effect, as well as contraindications for use, method of administration, doses, etc. - are identical to the data of other bisphosphonate drugs.
