Pamifos belongs to the pharmacotherapeutic group of drugs that affect the process of mineralization of bone tissue and prevent its destruction (resorption).
The international non-proprietary name of the drug is Pamidronate; manufacturer - the company Medac GmbH (Germany).
Pamifos is a synonym for bisphosphonate preparations, which are marketed under the trade names Pamidronate, Pamiredin, Pamidria, Pamir, Pomigara, etc. Their therapeutic effect is provided by the same active substance, disodium pamidronate.

Indications Pamifos
Indications for the use of Pamifos and listed drugs-synonyms: metastasis of cancerous tumors in the bone and an increase in the calcium content in the blood in patients with oncological diseases; multiple myeloma; Paget's disease.
Other characteristics of Pamifos - contraindications to use, the form of release, the principles of therapeutic effect, as well as contraindications to use, the method of application, doses etc. - are identical to those of other bisphosphonate preparations.
