The antitumor drug Paclitax is a cytostatic of plant origin.

Its synonyms are the following drugs: Paclitaxel Actavis, Taxol, Paclitaxel, Paclitaxel "Ebeve", Paklinor, Paxen, Paclitaxel-Teva, Pactalik, Paclitera, Docetaxel, Abitaxel, Intaxel, Mitotax, Sindaxel, Taxacad, Yutaxan.

The manufacturer of Paclitax is Cipla Ltd. (India).

The effect of this drug (and all its synonyms) on cancer cells is provided by paclitaxel. This active substance is isolated from taxanes - alkaloids of the bark of the short-leaved yew.

Indications for use of Paclitax, release form, pharmacodynamics of Paclitax and pharmacokinetics of Paclitax are identical to the drug Paclitaxel Actavis.

Also completely coincide with Paclitaxel Actavis contraindications for the use of Paclitaxel, its side effects, method of administration and dosage, overdose and other characteristics.
