Various oils are used for cracks. This can be regular vegetable (base) oil, as well as various essential oils. The difference is that the base oil can be used in pure, undiluted form, and it acts as a base for the preparation of other oils. Essential oils, plant extracts and medicinal components can be dissolved in it.

Essential oil is concentrated, so it is not used in its pure form. It must be dissolved in a base (vegetable) oil. Essential oils are used in small quantities - a few drops. It is important to remember that they can cause an allergic reaction. Therefore, before starting treatment, you need to do a small allergy test - first apply to a small area of the skin and check the reaction. If there is no redness or irritation within a few minutes, the oil can be used.

Almond and coconut oils are good as basic oils for treating cracks, as they have a wound-healing effect. Shea butter and jojoba oils are good for restoring various skin damages and promote skin renewal. Pumpkin, watermelon, and melon oils are traditionally used to treat spurs and cracks on the heels.

Essential oils that have proven themselves well include tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil, sage oil, and all coniferous oils. They relieve inflammation and prevent the development of an infectious process. Lemon oil and various citrus oils will help lighten the skin and restore metabolic processes in the skin.

Butter for cracked heels

Butter has a softening effect, perfectly restores after wounds and scars, eliminates the remains of inflammatory and infectious phenomena, and starts the process of cell self-renewal.

Butter can be used in its pure form for application to the skin, added to baths. It is also melted and used to prepare various medicinal products.

Here are some recipes.

  • Recipe No. 1.

To prepare the ointment, take about 100 grams of butter and melt it over low heat. Gradually add 100 grams of honey, stirring slowly. After the honey has dissolved and becomes a homogeneous mass, you can add a pinch of soda. Place in the refrigerator and wait until it hardens. After that, use it as an ointment, applying it to the affected areas, and also use it as a base for a compress.

  • Recipe No. 2.

Melted butter with honey is often used to lubricate and rub down feet, as well as for compresses and lotions. To prepare, take 100 grams of butter and the same amount of honey. Bring the butter to a boil and melt. Gradually add honey, stirring the mixture thoroughly. A homogeneous mass should appear. Remove from heat and cool. You can pour it into molds. After the product has hardened, you can use it. It is also useful to add ground cinnamon, ginger, or cloves to the butter. These substances have additional stimulating properties, accelerate the healing process and tissue renewal. Add to melted butter after honey has been added and the mixture has acquired a homogeneous consistency. On average, half a teaspoon of the specified spices is taken for the specified proportions. They significantly enhance the healing properties of honey and butter.

  • Recipe No. 3.

Honey-based butter with anise and ginger is used as an ointment. To prepare, you need 100 grams of butter and about 50 grams of honey. Melt the butter over low heat. Stirring constantly, add honey in small portions. Continue to boil and stir until a homogeneous mass is formed. Then remove from heat, add half a teaspoon of ground anise and ginger. Mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps. Pour into molds, leave in a cool place, for example in the refrigerator.

Olive oil for cracked heels

Olive oil can be simply rubbed into the skin in its pure form. It can be used as a base for dissolving medicinal components, vitamins and essential oils. It is used for massage, under compresses and lotions.

Olive oil with garlic has proven itself well. It helps prevent the development of an infectious process and is used when there is a risk of inflammation. You can lubricate the affected areas with this product, or apply it as a compress.

To prepare, you need a glass of oil. Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey, stirring slowly. Separately, pass the garlic through a garlic press. You can simply grate it on a fine grater, or cut it into small pieces. Then mix all the ingredients and leave for an hour.

Tea Tree Oil for Cracked Heels

This is an essential oil that is produced in concentrated form. It cannot be used in its pure form; it must first be dissolved in solvents. Fatty bases are best suited for this purpose. It is recommended to dissolve in glycerin, base oil. You can also add a few drops to any cream. It can be used for baths. In this case, it is recommended to use about 3-4 drops of the product per 2-3 liters of hot water. Promotes rapid healing of wounds and cracks, restores the skin. In addition, it has antibacterial properties.

Shea butter for cracked heels

It is better to use it in its pure form, as it is a good wound-healing agent, containing a large amount of vitamins and minerals. It promotes rapid restoration of the skin and mucous membranes, and is easily absorbed by the skin.

Castor oil for cracked heels

It is better to use it in its pure form, lubricating the damaged areas, the heels completely. After that, it is necessary to put on warm socks. It is better to do this at night. Castor oil activates metabolic processes, accelerates wound healing, has a powerful warming effect. It is necessary to rub it thoroughly until a red tint appears on the skin. It is also used for massage. After using this oil, you cannot go out into the cold for 2 hours.

Cocoa butter for cracked heels

Cocoa is valued for the butter it contains. It contains a large amount of polyphenols, which have the main healing effect. Due to its stimulating effect, blood circulation improves dramatically, resulting in the resorption of seals and healing of wounds. This stimulates metabolic processes. The oil warms the body well, penetrates into deep tissues, relaxes the nervous system, and relieves pain.

Cocoa butter is not only taken internally. It has found wide application as an ointment with a warming effect, as a prophylactic ointment applied to prevent bacterial and viral infections. The basic method of preparation is to melt the butter. It is placed in a microwave oven for 10 seconds, or boiled in a special container over low heat. Achieve a homogeneous mushy state, after which it is added to other products, mixed with other ingredients.

You can use cocoa powder, but traditionally cocoa butter is considered more effective. The traditional recipe is a mixture of honey and cocoa butter. To prepare the mixture, first melt 3-4 tablespoons of cocoa butter in a water bath, add the same amount of honey, and mix thoroughly. Apply as an ointment to cracks and inflamed areas.

Dry cocoa powder can be used instead of butter. To prepare the mixture, take 3-4 tablespoons of honey. Melt it in a water bath, add 2-3 teaspoons of cocoa powder, dissolve, stirring constantly.

Cocoa butter has proven itself to be a good choice as it has a softening effect. To prepare it, use butter and natural dark chocolate (100 grams each). Melt it all over low heat, stirring constantly. You should get a homogeneous mass of one shade. Then add 3 tablespoons of lard. Also stir slowly, bring to complete dissolution. Then add 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder, stirring evenly, 5-6 tablespoons of honey. It is recommended to grind the chocolate on the track beforehand, as it will dissolve poorly in the butter.

Another mixture is: 100 grams of cocoa butter are dissolved in a water bath. Badger or visceral fat is gradually introduced and also dissolved (approximately 30-40 grams). Then the same amount of honey is added and brought to a uniform consistency. Remove from heat, stirring slowly, and approximately 30-40 ml of aloe juice is added. You can add 0.5 teaspoon of cinnamon and ginger. This will enhance the warming effect and also increase the healing properties of the remaining components.
