Indications Mebicara
It is used to eliminate the following disorders:
- cardialgia, coronary heart disease, and along with this the recovery period after a heart attack (combined treatment);
- neurotic disorders (a feeling of irritability, emotional instability or anxiety, as well as disorders of an anxious-depressive, panic or phobic nature), which arose due to various stresses - physical, psycho-emotional or neuropsychic;
- the need to improve the patient's tolerance to neuroleptics or tranquilizers;
- neurosis-like disorders in people with alcohol dependence;
- nicotine addiction (reduced need for nicotine).
Release form
The drug is released in tablets, 10 pieces of 0.3 g each inside a blister pack. There are 1 or 2 such packs in a box.
Pharmacodynamics
Mebikar has a nootropic, anxiolytic, and stress-protective effect. It helps improve the oxygen supply processes of the tissues located inside the myocardium and stabilizes the balance of electrolytes inside the plasma, potassium levels inside the blood, and in addition, erythrocytes inside the tissues of the cardiac myocardium. In addition, it potentiates protein binding and increases cellular energy resources.
Helps regulate altered night sleep, while not causing direct hypnotic effects. Does not have muscle relaxant or anticholinergic properties and does not affect motor coordination. At the same time, it reduces the severity of nicotine withdrawal.
Pharmacokinetics
After oral administration of a tablet, approximately 78-80% of the dosage passes into the blood.
The active substance penetrates into many tissues and through membranes. Peak values of the drug are noted after 30 minutes from the moment of its administration.
Complete excretion of the drug occurs within 24 hours, the drug is excreted in the urine.
Dosing and administration
The tablets are taken orally, without reference to meals. The standard daily dose of the drug is 0.3-1 g, taken up to 3 times. The maximum possible single dose is 3 g, and the daily dose is 10 g. The duration of therapy or prevention is a minimum of several days and a maximum of 3 months. When treating mental illnesses, a course of up to six months may be required.
To eliminate feelings of fear, irritability, anxiety or emotional instability, it is often necessary to take 0.3-0.6 g of the drug three times a day.
Treatment of mental or autonomic disorders (feelings of anxiety or fear, memory and attention impairment, as well as asthenia and cardialgia not associated with coronary heart disease) requires three doses of 0.6-0.9 g of the drug per day.
To reduce the need for nicotine or alcoholic beverages, and also during abstinence of alcohol or nicotine origin, 3-time use of 0.6-0.9 g of the drug per day is required. The therapy lasts a maximum of 1.5 months.
People with pronounced psychopathic disorders, which are provoked by organic changes in the brain, and in addition to this, if intolerance to neuroleptics occurs, should be prescribed three times a day of 0.9-1.8 g of Mebikar.

Use Mebicara during pregnancy
It is prohibited to prescribe Mebikar to pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers.
Contraindications
Contraindication is hypersensitivity to the medication.
Side effects Mebicara
Taking the medicine may cause allergic symptoms. When taking large doses of the medicine, the blood pressure level may decrease slightly for a short time, and in addition, dyspepsia or hyperthermia may develop.
A decrease in pressure values and an increase in temperature do not require discontinuing the drug - these phenomena will soon normalize on their own.
Overdose
Due to poisoning with the drug, the severity of its side effects may be potentiated.
To eliminate the disorders, it is necessary to perform gastric lavage and detoxification procedures.
Storage conditions
Mebicar must be kept in a dry place, out of the reach of small children, at standard temperatures.
Shelf life
Mebikar can be used for 4 years from the date of release of the drug.

The medicine cannot be used to treat children.
