Last reviewed: 04.07.2025
Livian is a subgroup of drugs that help heal wounds. In addition, it is a substance that regulates metabolic processes. Its medicinal effect is due to the activity of the active elements that are the constituent components of the aerosol.
Due to the large volume of secreted serous fluid, during the treatment of the burn surface, absorption of the drug, as well as the development of a resorptive effect, almost does not occur. [ 1 ]

Indications Livian
It is used for wounds and burns that require pain relief, and also to increase the rate of healing and the appearance of granulation.
Release form
The drug is released in the form of an aerosol, inside cans equipped with spray nozzles (volume 40 g).
Pharmacodynamics
Linetol is a mixture of ethyl esters of fatty acids that have an unsaturated form (including oleic and linoleic acids, as well as linolenic acids). They are very important in the processes of stabilizing the fatty elements of the epidermal cell membranes destroyed by burns. [ 2 ]
Fish oil contains a large amount of D-vitamin with α-tocopherol acetate, which are natural antioxidants. These components prevent the development of degeneration at the burn site, and at the same time stop the subsequent accumulation of tissue decay products and their absorption into the blood.
Benzocaine promotes the development of an analgesic effect, preventing the transfer of nociceptive impulses from the burn area to the central nervous system, and also the development of pain.
Ethyl alcohol and cyminal contained in the drug have a disinfecting effect on most of the most common pathogens that cause infection in post-burn detritus.
Sunflower and lavender oils have protective, deodorizing, softening and disinfecting properties, and at the same time accelerate the wound healing process.
The duration of the medicinal effect of the aerosol is determined by the speed and intensity of secretion of serous fluid, which can wash away the applied medicine. The average duration of the therapeutic effect with a single treatment is 6-12 hours, and sometimes up to 24 hours.
Dosing and administration
The aerosol must be sprayed onto the burnt area, covering the entire surface. If the wound has a granulating form and is accompanied by a strong discharge of pus, after treatment with the medicine, the affected area must be covered with an aseptic bandage, which is also pre-treated with the aerosol.
The wound treatment procedure is performed daily or every other day, at least once a day. The therapy period is 2-10 days, taking into account the condition of the lesion.
