L'esfal has proven itself well in diseases of the liver, bile ducts, psoriasis, in cleansing the liver from traces of toxic intoxication, from radiation effects, and the drug also reduces severe manifestations of toxicosis during pregnancy. L'esfal has virtually no contraindications (except for individual intolerance), in addition, it is safe during pregnancy and lactation.
The active ingredient of the drug L'esfal is soy lecithin, a natural substance that has beneficial properties for the human body. Soy lecithin includes substances that dissolve and burn fat, i.e. protect the liver, gall bladder, blood vessels from cholesterol. It is due to its similarity to adipose tissue that lecithin promotes the natural breakdown of fat (and only excess fat in the body), and takes an active part in the oxidation process.

Indications Lesfal
L'esfal is used for:
- Diseases of the biliary tract.
- Toxic liver damage.
- Toxicosis during pregnancy.
- Radiation syndrome.
- Psoriasis.
The results of numerous studies show that L'esfal improves metabolism in the liver, increases resistance to harmful effects, accelerates the process of restoration of cells and liver functions in case of various injuries.
In the human body, the liver performs many important functions: it regulates carbohydrate metabolism, stores glycogen (the body's energy reserve), as well as vitamins and microelements, neutralizes toxins and poisons that enter the body, etc.
The human liver has an amazing ability to recover. Even if only 25% of normal tissue remains, the liver is able to restore its original size. But this process is very slow. Long-term exposure to unfavorable factors (alcohol, viruses, hepatitis) leads to the normal cells being replaced by connective tissue, resulting in cirrhosis. The most common cause of liver cirrhosis is prolonged alcohol poisoning and hepatitis.
Various diseases lead to the weakening of liver functions, disruption of the process of bile formation. Difficulty in the flow of bile into the intestine often occurs due to various inflammatory processes of the gallbladder (cholangitis, cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, etc.). As a result of inflammation, bile is retained in the gallbladder, liver, and begins to be absorbed into the blood. Insufficient amount of bile in the intestine disrupts the digestive process, especially the digestion of fats is difficult.

Release form
L'esfal is available as an injection solution in 5 ml ampoules. Depending on the packaging, the package contains 5 or 10 ampoules.
Pharmacodynamics
Soy lecithin contained in the preparation contains many polyunsaturated fatty acids. Lecithin molecules are built mainly into the structures of cell membranes, thereby facilitating the process of restoring damaged liver tissue. Lecithin, also known in medicine as phospholipid, affects impaired lipid metabolism, regulating the metabolism of lipoproteins. As a result, cholesterol and neutral fats receive a form suitable for transportation, in particular due to the increased ability of high-density fats to attach cholesterol for further oxidation. The drug is excreted through the bile ducts, during which the lithogenic index decreases and bile is stabilized.
Pharmacokinetics
The half-life of the choline component of the drug is 66 hours (about 3 days), for saturated fatty acids - 32 hours. During kinetic studies of the human body, it was found that about 5% of each of the excreted isotopes (14C and 3H) occurred through excretion with feces.
Dosing and administration
The drug is administered only intravenously and very slowly; if L'esfal is administered intramuscularly, a local reaction may develop. The drug is prescribed to adults and children over 12 years of age at 5-10 ml per day (1-2 ampoules). In severe cases of the disease, the dose can be doubled. No more than 10 ml of the drug can be administered at a time. To dilute L'esfal, the patient's own blood is used 1:1. The course of treatment is 10 days, then treatment is continued with oral forms of the drug.
For psoriasis, the oral form is prescribed for the first two weeks, then a course of 10 intravenous injections is possible, at the same time PUVA therapy (ultraviolet radiation) is prescribed. After the course of intravenous injections is completed, oral forms of lecithin are resumed.
If it happens that dilution of the drug with the patient's blood is impossible, electrolyte-free solutions (glucose, xylitol) can be used in a 1:1 ratio.
Use Lesfal during pregnancy
During pregnancy, L'esfal is used to treat severe cases of toxicosis. The drug has proven itself in toxicosis in pregnant women, it relieves severe symptoms well and alleviates the woman's condition.
If there is a need for treatment during breastfeeding, L'esfal can be used without fear; no side effects or harmful effects on the child's body through breast milk have been identified.
The product contains alcohol and is used exclusively intravenously. When the drug is administered intramuscularly, more severe local reactions are observed.
Overdose
At present, there is no information regarding overdose of L'esfal, but as it was said, increased doses of the drug can cause diarrhea and lead to disruption of the digestive tract. Sometimes a local allergic reaction may appear in the form of various rashes, itching, etc.
