Iodbalans is a part of the pharmacotherapeutic group of drugs for replenishing iodine deficiency in the body. The manufacturer of the drug is Merck KGaA (Germany). Other trade names (synonyms and generics): Potassium iodide, Iodex, Iod-Normil, Iodomarin, Microiodide, Iod Vitrum, etc.
As with all drugs-synonyms of this pharmacotherapeutic group, the therapeutic effect of Iodbalans is due to the active substance - potassium iodide, therefore the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of Iodbalans are identical to drugs with other commercial names - see Iodex.
All other characteristics, including contraindications for the use of Iodbalance, side effects of Iodbalance, use during pregnancy, method of administration, dosage, etc., completely coincide with the characteristics of the drug Iodex.
