Indications Insti
It is used to eliminate pronounced signs of acute respiratory viral infections, against the background of which a cough, nasal congestion, severe headaches or sore throat and other symptoms characteristic of the disease develop, and in addition, the temperature increases (up to 38°C).
Release form
The therapeutic component is released in granules packed in 5.6 g sachets. They are used to make medicinal tea. There are 5 such sachets in a box.
Pharmacodynamics
Insti is a combination drug based on herbal components, the activity of which creates the range of its medicinal effects.
Willow contains the elements salicin and tremulacin and has anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic properties.
Justicia vasica, which includes the alkaloids vasicinone, and in addition vasicin, has a bronchodilating and expectorant effect, increases the motor ability of the cilia, helps to separate sputum, and at the same time has oxytocin-like and expectorant properties.
Violet contains essential oils and friedelin, which causes diaphoretic, expectorant, antipyretic and antihistamine effects.
Licorice contains substances such as asparagine with the glycoside glycyrrhizin, as well as flavonoids, which is why it has an expectorant, mucolytic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Chinese tea, containing tannin with caffeine, and in addition theophylline, leads to the appearance of diuretic, tonic and astringent activity.
The composition of the fennel substance includes essential oils with dipentine, the activity of which leads to the development of anti-inflammatory, disinfectant and expectorant effects.
Combined with its own essential oils (pinene with myrtenol, and also pinocarvone with cineole, as well as eidesmol) and tanning elements, eucalyptus demonstrates anti-inflammatory and disinfectant activity (especially against streptococci and staphylococci).
The composition of valerian includes alkaloids with essential oils, and along with them saponins and ketones, which have an effect on the central nervous system (reducing excitability) and reducing muscle spasms.
All this improves the general condition of the patient, reduces high temperature and weakens the severity of cough. The drug helps to speed up the process of eliminating signs of tracheitis and pharyngitis with a runny nose. Does not cause a feeling of drowsiness or addiction. The medicinal effect begins to manifest itself after 24 hours.
At the same time, the tea reduces the symptoms of poisoning (hyperthermia, hyperhidrosis and a general feeling of weakness), often occurring against the background of inflammation affecting the respiratory tract. Insti acts as a disinfectant, increases the productivity of cough and reduces its severity. Reduces the duration of regression of the acute phase of the disease to a 3-4-day period.
Dosing and administration
The medicine is taken orally in the form of tea, which is obtained by dissolving the granules contained in 1 sachet in hot water. The medicine should be drunk slowly.
Usually it is necessary to drink 1 sachet 2-3 times a day, after meals.
This therapy usually lasts 7-8 days. Regarding further use of the medication, you need to consult with your doctor.

Reviews
Insti receives mostly good reviews (if the drug is used in compliance with all conditions and indications). Only occasionally there are negative comments, but they are usually associated with the need for more serious therapy using antibiotics and other potent substances.
The drug is often discussed in connection with its use in pregnant women - doctors prescribe it to this category of patients because the medicine has a plant base and therefore cannot have a negative effect on the fetus. But this issue should still be considered controversial - it is necessary to carefully analyze all possible risks of developing a negative effect of the drug components on the fetus.
Pregnant women write in their reviews that the medication is completely harmless, and is considered prohibited solely because it has not been clinically tested. In any case, it is necessary to approach the issue of using Insti in pregnant or lactating women with great caution.
