Dosing and administration
The maximum period for taking ibuprofen should not exceed 5 days. For children 6-11 years of age, the dose of the drug is calculated on the basis of weight: 20-30 mg / kg per day. In tablet form, this is 1 tablet. If necessary, after 6 hours you can take one more, but not more than 3 pieces.
The syrup is used for children from 6 months, is also dosed taking into account the body weight of the child: 5-10 ml / kg, the multiplicity of reception up to 4 times per day.
Rectal suppository can be put 3-month babies: 1 pc. (60mg) 3 times a day, after 9 months - 4 times.
Children after 11 years and adults, if necessary, can drink 1-2 tablets after an interval of 4-6 hours. The same is the dosage of ibuprofen in osteochondrosis. It will reduce the pain threshold, reduce inflammation.
Ibuprofen in the form of ointment, gel will help to alleviate the condition. They are applied in a thin layer on the painful area several times a day.
Application for children
For children, special forms of ibuprofen are available that are convenient for their use. You can use them from 3-6 months, and tablets from the age of six with a body weight exceeding 20kg. Storage conditions
Ibuprofen is kept out of the reach of children and sunlight. The temperature should be no higher than + 25ºС.
Shelf life
Tablets and sealed bottle of syrup are stored for 3 years, suppositories - 2 years. After opening, the syrup is usable for another six months.
