Red grass has effective sugar-lowering properties. The plant belongs to the cruciferous family with a long thin stem and small leaves. The inflorescences are small yellow flowers, and the fruits are pods. The pods contain brown seeds that secrete mucus when they fall into water.

The medicinal plant contains proteins, tocopherol, oil. Such chemical composition improves the functioning of the immune and hematopoietic systems, regulates the processes of regeneration and recovery.

How to take redhead for diabetes?

All parts of the plant are used for medicinal purposes. Decoctions and infusions are prepared from the herb, and seeds and oil are also used. Effective recipes used for diabetes:

  1. Pour 250 ml of warm clean water over a tablespoon of seeds. Put the remedy on low heat and boil for 15-20 minutes. Drink 150 ml of the decoction daily 3-4 times a day an hour before meals.
  2. Grind the seeds and take 1 teaspoon 2 times a day with clean water.
  3. Pour a glass of boiling water over a tablespoon of seeds and simmer for 20 minutes. After cooling, strain and add a teaspoon of lemon juice. Take 1/3 cup 3 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-3 months.

Contraindications to red grass: hypersensitivity to the herbal remedy, gastrointestinal diseases, gastric ulcers, severe liver and kidney pathologies, decreased visual acuity, glaucoma.
