Gidazepam is a psycholeptic used in the treatment of psycho-neurotic disorders.

The medication is a benzodiazepine derivative; it has a selective anxiolytic effect and is a mild daytime tranquilizer. The drug combines an antidepressant effect, as well as an activating and anxiolytic effect. The drug has low toxicity and causes a minimum of side effects. When used in moderate doses, it has no hypnotic effect and does not increase the rate of onset of fatigue. [1]

Dosing and administration

Given the type of pills, they are either taken orally or sucked under the tongue. The serving size is the same for both types. The medication is used in a dosage of 20-50 mg, 2-3 times a day. The portion may increase, sometimes it is brought to 0.2 g per day, although a portion of 0.1 g is considered optimal.

In case of violations of the asthenic, depressive or hypochondrial nature, it is required to use 0.06-0.12 g of the drug per day.

With alcohol withdrawal, 50 mg of drugs are used 3 times a day; the daily portion can be up to 0.5 g.
