Pharmacodynamics
Gaviscon mint tablets in the stomach envelop the mucous membrane and create a protective film. One of the components of the sodium alginate preparation after dissolution forms alginic acid with a neutral acid-base value. This acid takes part in the formation of a protective film.

Dosing and administration
