Galmanin is a white or almost white powder. 100 grams of Galmanin powder contain 10 grams of zinc oxide and 2 grams of salicylic acid, these are the active ingredients of Galmanin. Excipients are talc and potato starch. Galmanin powder is greasy to the touch.

Pharmacodynamics
Galmanin is a combination drug, as it contains two active components. Salicylic acid has a moderate anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and keratolytic effect, it also reduces the secretion of sweat glands. Zinc oxide has a drying and astringent effect, by denaturing proteins with the formation of albumin atoms, which reduce the phenomena of local inflammation.
Galmanin is very hygroscopic, it adsorbs sweat gland secretions, exudate. It also reduces friction of skin folds, protects the skin from various negative external influences.
Pharmacokinetics
Neither salicylic acid nor zinc oxide penetrate the skin and do not exhibit systemic effects.
Dosing and administration
Galmanin is used externally only. The preparation is applied as a powder in a thin layer to the affected areas, as well as to clean and dry skin 2-3 times a day. The powder can also be applied with a cotton swab. The treatment is carried out for 1 month.
When using Galmanin, care must be taken to ensure that the drug does not come into contact with the eyes, respiratory tract, lips, oral cavity, or wound surfaces.
