Fix is an antibacterial drug that is applied systemically. The drug belongs to the group of cephalosporins of the 3rd generation.

The principle of therapeutic effect of drugs is developed by the pronounced suppression of the processes of binding the walls of bacterial cells. The drug has a strong bactericidal activity. At the same time, it demonstrates resistance against the activity of β-lactamases, which are produced by a large number of bacteria (gram-negative as well as positive).

  • lesions of bones, subcutaneous tissues and epidermis (impetigo, erysipelas, folliculitis, infectious wounds and furunculosis);
  • biliary tract disorders (cholecystitis or cholangitis);
  • infection of the urogenital tract (pyelonephritis, prostatitis with cystitis, gonorrhea or endometritis);
  • typhoid fever or intestinal infections.

Dosing and administration

Adolescents over the age of 12 (weight over 50 kg) and adults should take an average of 0.4 g of the substance 1 times a day (or 0.2 g 2 times a day). Per day is allowed to consume no more than 0.4 g of drugs. The therapeutic cycle lasts 1-2 weeks on average.
