Eveik-Md is an antiallergic drug intended for systemic use.

Indications Eweik-Md.
Eveik-Md is intended to relieve allergy symptoms: conjunctivitis, urticaria, neurodermatitis. Suitable for the treatment of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis, as well as Quincke's edema, allergies to bee, wasp, mosquito bites, and complex therapy of chronic eczema.
Release form
The drug is a lozenge, round, white, no shell. The tablets have a pleasant mint smell and taste.
Pharmacodynamics
The active substance of Eveik-Md is loratadine. One tablet contains 10 mg. The drug affects peripheral H1 histamine receptors. Eveik-Md inhibits cell degranulation and blocks prostaglandins. Does not penetrate the BBB. Does not inhibit the uptake of norepinephrine, does not affect the function of the cardiovascular system. The bioavailability of the drug is proportional to the dose taken.
Pharmacokinetics
After oral administration of the tablet, Eveik-Md is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, reaching maximum concentration after 2 hours. A high rate of binding of loratadine to plasma proteins is noted. The half-life is about 8 hours. Most of it is excreted in urine and feces, 27% - in the first day after administration, the rest - over a long period of time, about 10 days.
Dosing and administration
Prescribed 1 tablet per day for adults and adolescents over 12 years old. For children under 12 years old, the dose is selected by the doctor based on weight, usually half a tablet. Treatment takes about a week. Relieves allergy symptoms within half an hour.
Use Eweik-Md. during pregnancy
Eveik-Md should not be taken during pregnancy and lactation.
Contraindications
Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, as well as for children under 2 years of age.
Side effects Eweik-Md.
Eveik-Md can cause dry mouth, drowsiness, inflammation of the stomach and duodenum, and heart rhythm disturbances such as arrhythmia.
Overdose
Exceeding the dose of Eveik-Md may cause tachycardia and drowsiness. Treatment is symptomatic. It is recommended to wash out the stomach.
Interactions with other drugs
Cimetidine and erythromycin, ketoconazole increase the concentration of the drug in the blood. Be careful when taking neuroleptics, antidepressants, sedatives, and other antihistamines together with Eveik-MD. If you are taking any medications, warn your doctor about it. Do not drink alcohol during treatment. Also, antibiotics and macrolides are incompatible with Eveik-MD.
An allergy can occur to any harmless irritant: animal hair, dust, chemicals in detergents, cosmetics, pollen, medications, insect bites. Allergic rhinitis with unbearable itching in the eyes and sneezing, asthma attacks and eczema, hay fever, hives and vomiting may appear. In addition to the treatment with Eveik-Md, you can try to help yourself like this: prepare a saline solution - 1 teaspoon of salt per liter of water and rinse your nose with it, you can also turn on a salt lamp, which can be bought at any hardware store.

Store in a dry, dark place out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
