Diclobene contains the component Diclofenac Na, which is an NSAID substance with analgesic activity. The medicine is used topically. Its medicinal effect is provided by the slowing down effect that the active element of drugs has on the processes of PG binding.

After local use, the active component of the drug passes through the epidermis, reaching the subcutaneous layer. In this zone, it exhibits anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity, and at the same time reduces tissue swelling.

Indications Dichlobobes

It is used for local elimination of pain developing in case of acute lesions of a traumatic nature (among them are sports injuries, for example, bruises, sprains or sprains).

Also prescribed for symptomatic procedures with localized lesions in the area of the joints with soft tissues of a rheumatic nature.

Release form

The release of drugs is implemented in the form of a transdermal patch - 5 pieces inside a sealed sachet; the pack contains 1 or 2 such bags.

After using Diclobene in people with severe sports injuries, the drug showed a highly effective analgesic effect in comparison with the placebo group.

Diclofenac tissue indices are maintained at a therapeutic level by continuously passing from a medical patch, regardless of the time of day. The average plasma values of the substance is about 3 ng / ml.

Pharmacokinetics

The metabolic processes and excretion of diclofenac when it is used locally are similar to the parameters noted after the administration of diclofenac Na. The term half-life equals 1-2 hours.

Dosing and administration

Apply a plaster to the affected area of the body. During the day, use 2 patches (applied in the morning, as well as in the evening). Before applying with a patch, remove the protective film from it. One medical patch is designed for continuous use for 12 hours.

You can use no more than 2 patches per day, even if you need to use them in more than one area. It is allowed to process only one damaged area at a time.

If necessary, a special mesh elastic bandage can be used to hold the patch.

Use Diklobene necessary for the minimum required period. The duration of treatment should be a maximum of 1 week. Regarding the continuation of the course, the decision is made by the attending doctor, personally.

Use Dichlobobes during pregnancy

There is not enough clinical information regarding local use of diclofenac in the 1st and 2nd trimesters. Testing with the participation of animals demonstrated the development of reproductive toxicity with systemic administration of drugs.

Because it was not possible to establish the consequences of the impact on pregnancy of the processes of slowing down the biosynthesis of GHGs, in the 1st and 2nd trimesters, Diclobene is used only with the doctor’s appointment, taking into account the higher probability of the usefulness of using the medication.

In the 3rd trimester, the drug can not be used, because the substances that slow down the binding of PG, can cause such violations:

• the fetus may develop cardiopulmonary toxicity (premature closure of the arterial pathways and the development of hypertension of the lungs occur);
• also, the fetus may be impaired renal activity, progressing to the development of deficiency, accompanied by lack of water;
• prolonged bleeding may occur in a pregnant woman associated with slowing of platelet aggregation, which occurs even with the use of extremely low portions of drugs;
• also in a pregnant woman, contractions of the uterine muscles can be slowed down, due to which the labor process is prolonged or delayed.

A small part of diclofenac with its metabolic components passes inside the mother's milk. To use the drug during lactation is possible only with the permission of the doctor, in situations where the benefits of it are more likely than the possibility of complications. It is forbidden to treat with medicine the mammary glands or vast areas of the body, as well as use for a long time period.

Contraindications

The main contraindications:

• severe intolerance to aspirin, diclofenac, other NSAIDs, as well as analgesics or other elements of the drug;
• the presence of asthma, acute cold or urticaria associated with the use of aspirin or other NSAIDs (in history);
• active phase of ulcers in the gastrointestinal tract;
• open burns or epidermal lesions;
• eczema or skin infection.

Side effects Dichlobobes

Side effects associated with the subcutaneous layers and epidermis: itching, rash, redness and burning, sometimes accompanied by blisters or pustules. In addition, there may appear local signs of allergy, including contact dermatitis in people who underwent external NSAID treatment and intolerance symptoms. There are also signs such as anaphylactic manifestations, angioedema and photosensitivity, and besides this, the epidermal rash is of a generalized nature.

The treatment of extensive bodily surfaces over a long period of time can cause the development of systemic negative manifestations (for example, gastrointestinal diseases or kidneys and bronchial spasms), but the probability of their occurrence is extremely low compared with the administration of Diclofenac Na.

Diklobene needs to be kept in a dark place, closed from small children. Temperature indicators - not more than 25 ° С.

Shelf life

Diclobene can be used for a 30-month term from the time the drug was manufactured. Unopened packaging has a 4-month shelf life.

Application for children

There is no information regarding the safety and drug efficacy of drugs when used in pediatrics (before the 18th anniversary).
