Indications Defenorma
It is used to treat constipation, having a diverse origin (this list includes constipation of pregnant women and usual constipation).
In addition, the medication can be used to soften feces in people with anal fissures, hemorrhoids and diverticulosis of the colon, and in addition to persons who have had an operation in the anorectal zone.
The drug is prescribed to stabilize the stool with diarrhea of a functional nature, IBS, ulcerative form of colitis and transmural ileitis.

Pharmacodynamics
The psyllium husk contained in the composition of the sand has a mild laxative effect, and at the same time stabilizes the stool with the development of a functional diarrhea. This element swells under the influence of liquid, and its specific hydrophilic fibers containing mucus irritate the intestinal end, so that the weakened intestinal peristalsis normalizes. In addition, the substance helps to soften the feces and increase their volume - with the help of fluid retention in the area of the intestinal lumen.
The drug facilitates the process of defecation and changes the consistency of feces, which helps to prevent irritation in the rectum in people with cracks in the anal region or with hemorrhoids.
Defhenorm synthesizes bile acids, keeping them inside the intestinal lumen, so that the plasma cholesterol decreases slightly.
Pharmacokinetics
Drug activity of drugs is noted after the expiration of 6-10 hours after taking the capsule inside.
The active element of Defenorma is not absorbed into the circulatory system and excreted with feces.
Dosing and administration
Capsules are required to be ingested by swallowing them whole. Drug reception time is not tied to eating. During treatment it is recommended to drink at least 1.5 liters of any liquid per day.
The dosage of the medicine can be adjusted by the doctor, taking into account the severity of the medicamental effects. The drug can be used for long courses.
It is prescribed in the amount of 1-2 capsules, which are taken at intervals of 6-8 hours.

Use Defenorma during pregnancy
The medication can be used with lactation or pregnancy only with the permission of the doctor.
Contraindications
The medicine is not used in people with increased sensitivity to psyllium.
