Release form

The drug is available in packs with a package of 50 g; 1,5 g in the amount of 20 filter bags in the package; in a cardboard box of 100 g.

In the composition of the mixture:

  • flower immortelle - 4 dosages;
  • leaf shamrock - 3 dosages;
  • a sheet of peppermint - 2 doses;
  • fruit of coriander - 2 doses.

The mixture is finely milled (slices up to 5 mm), has a pleasant medicinal aroma. The taste of the infusion slightly bitter and, at the same time, cools the mucous.

Pharmacodynamics

The infusion of the cholagogue collection is distinguished by pronounced cholagogic properties, which can be understood from the name. The drug helps to increase the secretory activity of the gallbladder, improves the quality of bile (reduces the total content of bile acids, increases the number of cholates and bilirubin in the biliary composition). In addition to increasing the amount of bile secretion, the infusion from the cholagogue collection has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antispasmodic effect, activates the secretory capacity of the stomach and pancreas, increases diuresis, eliminates bleeding.

Dosing and administration

An infusion of cholagogue medicinal plants can be prepared in several ways:

  • We put a tablespoon of the mixture in a saucepan, pour a cup of boiling pure water, cover it with a lid and place it on an active water bath for a quarter of an hour. After that, we cool about 1 hour, filter and squeeze the cake. Prepare the infused medication with boiled water to the original volume (one cup or cup) and use inside half a cup three times a day for half an hour before eating;
  • two filter bags are put in the teapot, pour a cup of boiling water, cover and insist a quarter of an hour. We take infusion for half an hour before meals, half a glass three times a day;

Contraindications

Contraindications to the use of cholagogue collection are:

  • acute gastritis;
  • acute form of the inflammatory process in the pancreas;
  • cholelithiasis;
  • obstructive jaundice;

Side effects of the cholagogue

When using cholagogue collection, side effects are extremely rare. They can manifest as allergic reactions (rash, redness of the skin, puffiness), and with prolonged admission - in the form of stagnant processes in the liver.
