Allochol is produced in tablets, which are covered with a shell, which has a coloring from yellow-green to orange. The surface of the tablet is biconvex. If the tablet is broken across, then a core is found in the fault, which is surrounded by two layers of shells.

One tablet contains active ingredients: bile condensed or bile dry - eighty milligrams, powder from dried garlic - forty milligrams, nettle leaves - five milligrams, activated carbon - twenty five milligrams. Of the excipients in the tablet contains a certain amount of magnesium oxide, potato starch, aerosil, calcium stearate, sugar, povidone, magnesium carbonate basic, titanium dioxide, talc, tropeoline O or tartazan, beeswax, vaseline oil.

Tablets from abdominal pain are placed in ten pieces in a contour mesh package. Five such packages are located in a cardboard bundle, provided with an insert instruction.

Pharmacodynamics

Allochol helps improve the secretory function of liver cells, which leads to a moderate choleretic effect. Allochol leads to stimulation of production of bile acids, and also leads to an increase in the osmotic gradient between bile and blood. All of the above increases the filtration of water and electrolytes in the bile capillaries. Also, the drug has an accelerating effect on the course of bile along the bile ducts, which helps to prevent the spread of ascending infections and reduces the activity of inflammatory processes. Allochol has the ability to reduce the deposition of cholesterol in the sediment, which is the prevention of stone formation in the gallbladder. Dry bile contributes to the improvement of the process of cholate formation, namely, the taurocholic and deoxycholic acids present in its composition. More bile, released into the intestinal lumen, leads to a reflex increase in secretion and motor activity in the digestive system, and also improves the quality of fat emulsification and the entire digestive process. Dry garlic powder inhibits the processes of fermentation of the intestinal tract, which contributes to the elimination of symptoms of flatulence.

Pharmacokinetics

Allochol has the quality of good absorption in the intestinal tract of the digestive system, which leads to the rapid inclusion of its active components in the processes of hepatoduodenal circulation. Metabolism of choloidal and chenodeoxycholic acid is carried out in the intestine. Chenodeoxycholic acid is also metabolized in the liver. In this organ, it is conjugated to various amino acids, secreted into bile, along with which it again enters the intestinal part, where it partially undergoes reabsorption, and the other part of the acid is removed from the body with the help of feces.
