Release form

Adjiflux has a tabletted form of release, and also comes in the form of a gel and a suspension. One chewable tablet contains: 400 mg of aluminum hydroxide gel dry and 400 mg magnesium hydroxide. Auxiliary components are: sucrose, povidone, sorbitol solution, sodium saccharin, silicon dioxide colloid, peppermint oil, magnesium stearate.

Tablets are white, round, flat, sweet to the taste. In one carton pack two blisters for 10 tablets.

Pharmacodynamics

The mechanism of action of the drug is based on the effectiveness of the components in its composition. Pharmacodynamics of magnesium hydroxide indicates its laxative effect, the algebra has absorptive, enveloping and antacid properties.

The drug neutralizes free HCl in the gastrointestinal tract, reducing the activity of gastric juice. Binds the bile acids that enter the stomach due to reflux from the duodenum, and inactivates pepsin. Has a protective effect on the gastrointestinal tract, accelerates the motility of all its departments. Does not cause alkalosis and secondary hypersecretion of HCl.

Dosing and administration

To effectively treat various pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract, the method of application and dose of Adjiflux is selected by the attending physician. As a rule, patients are prescribed 2-3 tablets 1-2 hours after meals or before bedtime. With a peptic ulcer, pills are taken 30 minutes before meals. If necessary, a single dosage can be increased to 3-4 pieces per day. After achieving the desired therapeutic effect, maintenance therapy is shown - 1-2 tablets a day for 2-3 months.

To improve the effectiveness of the drug, it is recommended to chew the capsules or dissolve until complete dissolution. Before using the suspension or gel, the vial of the drug should be shaken well, that is, homogenize.

Contraindications

Storage conditions
