Nutrition of a pregnant woman: needs
If you eat incorrectly, no doctor will help you give birth to a healthy and strong child. This means that your artzion should be as balanced as possible. It should contain all the necessary vitamins and minerals. Then the child will take everything it needs from the mother's body and will develop well.
Take note: a mother who has allowed a deficiency of useful substances in her body will definitely suffer consequences from this. The child may be born frail, unhealthy, with dysfunctions of many organs.
Moreover, an improper diet inevitably leads to negative health consequences for the expectant mother herself.
For calcium deficiency
Mom may start losing hair and teeth, and her nails may break much faster. If you fall, you are more likely to break a bone than someone with perfect calcium levels.
If the expectant mother has an iron deficiency
Then anemia may develop - simply put, anemia. The woman becomes pale, may experience bouts of nausea, has a poor appetite, which necessarily has a negative impact on the health of the future baby.
The right food for a pregnant woman
Useful vitamins come into our body from food. This is the main condition for the health of the expectant mother and her child. Therefore, the diet should be varied and in the right dosages. It must necessarily contain fats, which many people for some reason refuse, fearing to gain weight (and fats contain a large number of vitamins), and proteins for tissue and muscle growth, and carbohydrates, which charge you with energy for the whole day.
Needless to say, food for a pregnant woman should only be freshly prepared, and fresh vegetables and fruits should not be stored for a long time, since they lose the lion's share of their vitamins.
If the food is poorly prepared and has lost a lot of its useful properties as a result of heat treatment, then the child perceives such food much more strongly than the mother - after all, he is still very weak and defenseless. And then the fetus may be poisoned or its development may be abnormal.
How to properly prepare food for a pregnant woman?
As for meat and fish of different types, they should not be left raw to avoid infections. That is, wait until they are fully cooked, and only then eat them.
The best way to cook meat or fish is to bake it. This can be done in foil or a special sleeve. Then the products will not dehydrate, will lose a minimum of their useful properties and will retain all their best taste qualities.
Remember that boiling is a very good way to cook meat and fish from the point of view of their low calorie content. That is, when boiling meat, it does not gain as many calories as, for example, when boiling.
But! All the useful substances and vitamins remain in water by 80%, they are destroyed in meat. Therefore, there is no need to pour out the broth - it is nutritious and rich in vitamins. Just drink it if you do not want to cook soup with it.
Features of some products
We are talking about such useful products for pregnant women as kidneys and liver. They contain a lot of vitamin B, which is useful for pregnant women, which is responsible for the condition of the skin, fights aging and provides a lot of nutrients to both the mother and the fetus.
But! The liver and kidneys are the internal organs of animals and birds, which have the property of accumulating harmful substances during the processing of products that these animals and birds eat. And this may not have a very good effect on the health of the one who, in turn, consumes the kidneys and liver. That is, the pregnant mother.
Our advice: if you cook kidneys and liver, pour out the water. And the product itself, most of the substances of which have passed into this broth, can be eaten without fear.
And one more useful piece of advice: when choosing meat, kidneys, liver or heart of animals, be sure to smell them. If the smell does not attract you, do not take these products under any circumstances. And it is better to recognize the smell not in frozen products, where it is unclear, but in fresh ones.
Be healthy and eat all the necessary vitamins for your health and the health of your child!
