Planning the gender of a child is an interesting and exciting activity. True. It does not always give accurate results. But for many fathers (less often - mothers) it is vitally important that they have a boy or a girl. Although, if it turns out the other way around, they love their daughter no less than they would love their son. So, several methods of planning the gender of a child to choose from.

Planning the gender of the baby by the date of conception
When a sperm penetrates an egg, or rather merges with it, the sperm contains either an X chromosome or a Y chromosome. If it is an X, a girl will be born; if it is a Y, expect a boy. But the trick is that it is difficult for parents to calculate, and it is impossible to know for sure: which chromosome is contained in the sperm? Who will be born? Therefore, you can use approximate calendar data. Namely, the date of conception.
Since spermatozoa with the Y chromosome are more mobile and live a short time, you need to have sex directly on the first day of ovulation or the day before it. Then there is a high probability that a boy will be born. If you wait a little and make love two or three days before the end of ovulation, there is a high probability that a girl will be born.
What is the best way to conceive a boy?
- During lovemaking, the male partner's phallus penetrates the female partner's vagina as deeply as possible. Then the faster spermatozoa with the Y chromosome will reach the egg cell faster than their fellows.
- If a woman has an orgasm faster than her partner, then sperm with a Y chromosome will be more viable. This is because the substance that women secrete during sex gives greater survival to Y chromosomes. Therefore, the birth of a boy is more likely.
- If a man takes care of himself and does not overheat during the period when you are planning a pregnancy, this increases the viability of his Y sperm. This means that there is a high probability of conceiving a boy.
What is the best way to conceive a girl?
- It is better to avoid sex right before ovulation. It is best to have sex three days before ovulation or two days after.
- The penis should not penetrate the vagina too deeply.
- It is best for the expectant mother to experience orgasm not before her husband, but after him - then for the female chromosome carriers there will be no obstacles in the form of spermatozoa with male chromosome carriers.
How to correctly calculate the day of ovulation?
It is calculated over 2-3 menstrual cycles to get an average result and make it relatively accurate. To determine the day of ovulation, you need to measure the temperature in the vagina every morning using a chart and write it down. Before the day of ovulation, the basal temperature is approximately 36.6-36.8 degrees. On the day of ovulation, it can decrease - 36.2-36.4 degrees. The day after ovulation, the temperature rises sharply to 37 degrees.
Usually ovulation occurs 12-16 days after the onset of menstruation. On the day of ovulation, you may feel a little unwell, feel nauseous, and have pain in the lower abdomen. These signs can also be used to determine that the eggs are ready for fertilization.
Planning the gender of the child by the year of blood renewal
This theory states that a couple will have a baby of the gender whose blood is renewed earlier on the day of conception. According to the blood renewal theory, the father's blood is renewed once every 4 years, and the mother's blood is renewed once every 3 years. You need to divide the number of full years of the mother by 3, and the father's by 4. Whoever gets the lower number, that gender of the baby will be born. If the year of blood renewal coincides, there is a high probability that twins or triplets may be born.
True, this method is not very accurate: it gives a good effect only in 52% of cases.
Planning the gender of the child according to the Chinese calendar
This method is quite simple, it is calculated using a table. The horizontal line shows the mother's age, and the vertical line shows the month in which the baby was conceived. If you draw a cell at the intersection of the lines, you will get the baby's gender. To determine whether the calendar information is correct, check your own date of birth and the dates of birth of your relatives and friends. The Chinese calendar is considered a fairly accurate method for planning the sex of a child, although scientists have not yet figured out the exact patterns of constructing this table.
Child planning method using the MicroSort system
This is an American system that is based on the study of the genetic material of the mother's and father's cells. This method is reliable, but quite expensive, since it is a scientific method. According to it, the amount of genetic material in sperm and eggs is determined. In those sperm that contain male chromosomes, there is 3% less genetic material (DNA cells) than in sperm with female chromosomes.
To determine whether these are female or male chromosomes, the sperm is dyed, then the healthiest spermatozoa with chromosomes of the sex that the parents want are isolated, and artificial insemination is performed. However, scientists claim that this method is only effective if the couple wants a girl. And in cases where the couple is planning a boy, the method can only work 70%.
Planning the gender of the baby based on the mother's diet
Nutritionists and gynecologists say that the mother's diet determines who will be born, a boy or a girl. Many women in labor say that the French diet method works very well. Of course, like other non-scientific methods of pregnancy planning, it is not accurate. And yet there are results.
So, during the menstrual cycle, about a week before conception, the mother eats coffee without sugar in the morning, salad and boiled eggs for lunch, and boiled lean meat and salad for dinner. The French diet also includes fish, oranges, kefir, and fresh carrots. This diet does not limit fluid intake, which distinguishes it from other nutrition systems. They say that with this nutrition system, there is a high probability of having a boy.
Planning the gender of the child according to the lunar calendar
The lunar phase method is well suited for planning the sex of the future child. Supporters of the method believe that the lunar cycle accompanies a woman throughout her entire life (including sexual life).
The highest probability of conceiving a child is during the period of the repeated phase of the moon, when it coincides in date with the day of ovulation. The phase of the moon that was on the day when a woman was born is the most favorable period for conceiving a child. But in order for these phases to coincide, you need to know not only the day, but also the hour of your birth.
Between the male and female zodiacs, say supporters of the theory of lunar phases, the moon passes every two and a half days. If the day of the highest predisposition to conception coincides with the male zodiac, a boy will be born, and if with the female zodiac, a girl will be born.
It is up to you to believe or not to believe in different methods of planning the sex of the child. But when a person has a choice, he can use it and meet the long-awaited daughter or son from the maternity hospital.
