Leukocytosis in newborns is a multivariate indicator. The concept of "leukocytosis" is considered a sign of the inflammatory process, when the number of protective white bodies increases. However, in children up to one year the cellular composition of the blood changes literally every day and even an hour, the norms for infants are specific, therefore leukocytosis in newborns is not always a symptom or a diagnosis of the disease.   1. The most common causes are neutrophil shift or neutrophilic absolute leukocytosis. Causes of the leukocytosis in a newborn
