A bath is a necessary hygienic procedure. It can refresh, strengthen, harden, soothe, make our body beautiful and even heal. During bathing, the pores expand, begin to play the role of an active assistant to the lungs and kidneys, and metabolism improves. Baths will help you lose weight.

It is recommended not to take baths immediately after eating, but after 1.5-2 hours. The temperature should not exceed 37-38C, you should not take a bath for more than 10-15 minutes. After the bath, the body relaxes and therefore it is better to immediately go to bed for 30 minutes. The frequency of baths is 2-3 times a week.

Recommended Baths

Salt bath. Improves metabolism and calms the nervous system. For a bath, 1-2 kg of sea or regular salt.

Starch bath. This bath smoothes the skin, especially recommended for goose bumps and keratinization of the epidermis. For the bath, take 0.5 kg of potato starch and one tablespoon of pine extract.

Herbal bath. Ingredients: 25 g each of juniper berries, lavender flowers, St. John's wort, chamomile and 50 g each of linden blossom, peppermint, and thyme. Place the herbs in a gauze bag, boil in two liters of water and keep on low heat for 30 minutes. Pour the resulting decoction into the prepared bath. Such medicinal baths act not only as a soothing agent, but also as a treatment for oily seborrhea, pimples, and acne. A course of 8-10 baths.

Coniferous-eucalyptus baths. Add 3 tablespoons of coniferous extract and a few drops of eucalyptus oil to the bath. This bath gives you energy.

Coniferous bath. Ingredients: 3 tablespoons of coniferous extract or a coniferous briquette. Has a relaxing and calming effect on the nervous system.

Honey bath: 60-100 g of honey is dissolved in 0.5 liters of water ~ 38 and poured into the bath. Honey contains enzymes, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, bactericidal and aromatic substances in a physiologically balanced state. Honey is absorbed through the skin, makes it more elastic, through the blood it has a general strengthening effect, relieves nervous excitement.

A honey-foam bath is prepared in the same way as the previous one, but with the addition of two caps of shampoo. In the foam, the medicinal substances are absorbed faster and the calming effect is better manifested.

Honey-pine bath normalizes sleep and calms the nervous system. Preparation: 60-100g honey and 3 tablespoons of pine extract or briquette.

Honey-sage baths are prepared in the same way as the previous one.
