Indications of the holliceta
It is used to eliminate lesions in the oral mucosa that have an infectious, inflammatory, ulcerative or necrotic or trophic character. Among them - glossitis, stomatitis of different origin, periodontal disease, small surgical operations, as well as the use of dentures.
Release form
The release is carried out in the form of a gel, in a tube with a volume of 10 g. In the package - 1 such tube.
Pharmacodynamics
Holitset is a medication with a combined composition of elements and a complex effect.
Salicyalat choline has pronounced analgesic properties, manifested after a short time after the treatment with oral mucus gel. This component shows antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, as well as antimycotic effect. The drug effect lasts for 2-3 hours.
Chloride cetalkonium is an ammonium compound that prevents the growth of gram-negative as well as gram-positive microbes, and at the same time has an antimycotic effect. It does not irritate the tissues.
Pharmacokinetics
The choline salicylate is absorbed quickly enough through the oral mucosa. The component penetrates into the nerve receptors.
Dosing and administration
It is required to process a strip of gel not larger than 1 cm in the affected area of the oral mucosa. The procedure should be carried out 3-4 times / day. Apply the gel with a finger (you first need to wash your hands), while doing a little massaging the treatment site. After treatment with gel, it is recommended to refrain from rinsing the oral cavity, drinking or eating food, and brushing your teeth for at least 1 hour.
During therapy with periodontal pathologies, the drug is placed inside the pockets of the gums or used for compresses. Also it can be rubbed into the gums (1-2 procedures per day).
The duration of the therapeutic course is determined by the doctor, taking into account the clinical picture.

Use of the holliceta during pregnancy
In pregnancy and lactation, Holitset should be used with caution, taking into account the ratio of drug benefit to the woman and the risk of complications in the fetus / infant (this ratio is determined by the doctor).
Contraindications
The main contraindications: the presence of hypersensitivity to the elements of the medication, as well as reception for people under the age of 18 years.
Side effects of the holliceta
The use of drugs can cause a short burning sensation in the treatment site (this symptom disappears on its own). Also, there are sometimes signs of allergy in the form of hives and rashes.
Storage conditions
Holicet must be kept in a dark and dry place, closed from the access of young children. The temperature is a maximum of 25 ° C.

Shelf life
Holitset is allowed to be used for 1.5 years from the production of the therapeutic gel.
