Helicobacter pylori is normally absent from the test material.
Helicobacter pylori plays a leading role in the etiology of chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer disease.
The material for the study is biopsy samples of the gastric mucosa and feces. The diagnostic sensitivity of PCR for the detection of Helicobacter pylori in biopsy samples of the gastric mucosa is 88-95.4%, specificity - 100%; in coprofiltrates - 61.4-93.7% and 100%, respectively.
